PVG Application
From 28th February 2011, all new adults to the Scout Movement must Join the new PVG Scheme which replaces the Enhanced Disclosure Scotland Checks.
During the 1st year of operation only new 1st time applications to the scheme will be accepted, this is to allow the scheme to bed down. In view of this The Scout Association will allow the validity of the disclosures that expire in the 1st year to be extended until arrangements are put inplace for rechecking existing leaders.

It should be noted that as usual all AA forms and PVG Forms should be sent to Richard Fairbairn.
It should be noted that:
- We will unable to send a PVG application, in the 1st year of operation if the leader has a current disclosure or one that has run out between Feb 2011 - Feb 2012. If you are in any doubt contact richard@midlothianscouts.com
- Further information with details of rechecking procedures will follow as soon as they are available.
