Founders Day Service - Sunday 4th March 2012

All members of the Scouting in Midlothian are invited to Bonnyrigg Parish Church, High Street, Bonnyrigg on Sunday 4th March 10.00 – 11.00am to celebrate Scouting and our Founder Baden-Powell, As this year is the Centenary of the 14th Midlothian (Bonnyrigg) Scout Group the Minister at Bonnyrigg has agreed to host this service.

There will be a celebration of Scouting awards and the dedication of the new 14th Midlothian flag (to replace the “boy scouts” flag currently in use)

Parking is available nearby in the leisure centre car park off Park Road and at the health centre just off the High Street – refreshments will be available after the service in Bonnyrigg Scout Hall, Eldindean Road, Bonnyrigg just behind the health centre – please advise Erika of numbers for catering and please advise of special achievements (Chief Scout awards, Queens Scouts, Explorer Belts etc) that can be celebrated on the day.

There will be an opportunity for some boys and girls to participate in the service and it will be family friendly
