Midlothian Explorer Scouts Kandersteg 2011 PDF Print E-mail

Midlothian Explorer Scouts are going on a trip of a lifetime to Kandersteg International Scout Centre, Switzerland.

Kandersteg International Scout Centre is a World Centre of the World Organisation of the Scout Movement (WOSM). The Centre began in 1923 with Lord Baden-Powell, who, after the first World Scout Jamboree, had a dream about a place where all Scouts from all over the world could meet. His dream came true and now YOU have the opportunity to visit Kandersteg International Scout Centre and live YOUR Dream!

WHEN,  HOW AND WHO?

Monday 11th July 2011 to Friday 22nd July 2011.

We will fly from Edinburgh Airport, to Geneva, Switzerland. We will then take the Train to Kandersteg.

The trip is open to any member of Scouting in Midlothian District, who will be of Explorer Age at the date of the trip.

Please see the attached documents for further information
